EventsLocal acrylic artist Jeffrey P. Rouse will exhibit artwork at the Saint Vincent Gristmill February 3䴋18. An opening reception will be held at the Gristmill on Saturday, Feb. 3 from 7 to 9 p.m. Rouse䴜s work will continue to be displayed until February 18 during the Gristmill䴜s regular hours: Monday thru Saturday 9 to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Rouse is the owner of Tri-Maple Studio, which opened in 1978, and New Growth Gallery, which opened in 1988, both located in New Alexandria, Pa.
He has illustrated for Mayor Louis J. Tullio of Erie and served as Registrar and Curator of Art at the Westmoreland Museum of American Art, Director of the Westmoreland Country Historical Society, and Director of the University Museum at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
